The history of BIS Broleigh
Broleigh Production Components cc was established in 1992, by entrepreneur, Bruce Leighton.
The business operated from a small factory in Glen Anil. Bruce’s engineering background and ambition led to rapid expansion as he continued to identify further needs within the metal component industry.
In 1994 , due to the business outgrowing itself, a new factory was built. The stage was set for Broleigh to reach new heights.
With continued growth, in 1999, Broleigh acquired its first CNC PUNCHING MACHINE as they expanded into the sheet metal industry. This resulted in a further move to bigger premises in Sasswood Road, Glen Anil.
Broleigh Precision Sheet Metal (Pty) Ltd was founded during 2003, as the business shifted its focus to sheet metal fabrication. Broleigh offered a wide range of services and expertise in component manufacture including CNC laser cutting, CNC punching, CNC bending, metal assemblies, specialist welding, guillotining and rolling. Our highly skilled in-house designers use the industry’s best computer design systems. Manufacturing and powder coating is driven by top skilled staff and installation lead by highly qualified installation teas. Our sales team is passionate about their customers they serve and have many years of vast knowledge of the industry.
In 2005 the business branched out further into the retail in-store shopfitting sector, where it proudly serves a massive share of the supermarket retail and wholesale industry.
In 2020, despite difficult circumstances, BIS BROLEIGH again moved to bigger and better premises, acquiring further state of the art machinery. This facilitated renewed lead times and efficiencies from production to installation.
